About JXP

I am a queer, neurodivergent visual storyteller who excels in finding order in chaos. I approach creative solutions like puzzles—trying to connect unexpected ideas by first finding patterns in the pieces I'm given.

Creativity is location-agnostic, whether you're IRL or URL the most important thing is knowing the brand, the world it exists in and the barriers (economic or emotional) that keep your audience from seeing its value.

Joey Xavier Polino is a designer, art director and creative strategist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. He currently works for Pinterest as a designer on their Global Creative Strategy team where he specializes in the design and execution of scaled content, 1:1 partnership materials and workshop programs.

Prior to Pinterest, JXP worked in the luxury fashion sector with Saks Fifth Avenue as the social media creative specialist. There, he strategically crafted the content calendar based on Saks’ business priorities, writing and designing each piece of content, producing and directing biweekly photoshoots, and attending events such as Fashion Week and designer launches for real-time content.

While at VaynerMedia, JXP worked in creative pods and designed for both the consumer packaged goods industry, as well as for major television networks. He also has a background in community management at VaynerMedia, providing the day-to-day social media voice for Ferrero Rocher and Sonic Drive-Thru (among others).

He graduated from Emerson College in May 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing Communications, and a minor (though, unofficial double major) in Art History.

JXP is the unofficial spokesperson for the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, where he resides with his partner (who also named Joey) and their quarantine rescue puppy, Rooney.
